‘The Colosseum’ is another great sight to see, built by the ancient Romans for their entertainment of gladiator and animal battles. Another attraction is ‘The Pantheon’; this was originally built as a temple dedicated to ‘all gods’, hence its name.

The Piazza Navona displays Baroque triumphant architecture and ‘Fountain of Four Rivers’. The Piazza del Campidoglio is situated the Capitol Hill and is also the headquarters of the Italian Government. The Capitoline museums hold the famous statue of the ‘She-wolf’ with the twins – Romulus and Remus.
