Fifth Third Bank customers can now do online banking with cell phones and other handheld mobile devices with wireless internet access.
Customers can use the new service to see pending and posted transactions, view balances, receive text messages about their balances, transfer funds and find Fifth Third branches and ATM cash machines.
John Pelizzari, president and chief executive officer for Fifth Third in central Indiana, said "Whether they prefer to visit a branch, manage their accounts online, through the call center or a mix of all channels, we are pleased to provide our customers this next step in convenience as well as another secure and functional way to research and service their accounts.
