08 jul 2009 - Kenya Mobile Wap Portal Site Launched
Telkom Kenya has launched a WAP mobile internet portal for subscribers under the Orange World brand. The site offers access to news, sports, games, listings, travel information and entertainment.
Orange Mobile subscribers will access the service free of charge for the next month.
"This new service falls in line with our strategy for the next three or four years, where we are looking at being the leader in the areas we are strong and that includes broadband services," said Telkom Kenya chief executive, Mickael Ghossein.
